ASI 0600-4830 48 x 30 in. Stainless Steel Angle Frame Mirror
The ASI 0600-4830 is a 48 x 30 in. surface-mounted plate-glass mirror with a satin-finish Type 304 stainless steel angle frame and a concealed hanging bracket.
Specifications and construction
- Overall size: 48 in. wide x 30 in. high.
- Mirror: standard 1/4 in. plate glass, silver-coated and hermetically sealed; ASI warrants against silver spoilage for 15 years from invoice date.
- Frame: roll-formed 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel angle, 3/4 x 5/8 in., with heliarc-welded corners polished smooth to a uniform satin finish.
- Mounting and retention: the concealed hanging bracket locks to the top and bottom of the frame with tamper-proof set screws; a theft-resistant locking device attaches the one-piece back plate to the frame.
Installation
Install the bracket level and plumb using #10 self-threading screws (by others), hang the mirror, and tighten the top and bottom locking screws. ASI's installation guidance for the cited 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards and 2015 ABA Standards states that the bottom edge of the reflecting surface should be no higher than 40 in. above the finished floor.
