ASI 0600-3036 Angle Frame Mirror, 30 x 36 in.
The ASI 0600-3036 is a 30 in. wide x 36 in. high, surface-mounted plate-glass mirror. Its distinguishing feature is a satin-finish Type 304 stainless steel angle frame with a concealed, tamper-resistant hanging and locking system.
Specifications
- Standard glazing: 1/4 in. plate glass; the manufacturer warrants against silver spoilage for 15 years from the invoice date.
- Frame: roll-formed 18-gauge Type 304 (18-8) stainless steel, 3/4 x 5/8 in., with heliarc-welded corners polished smooth to a uniform satin finish.
- Mounting: surface mounted on a concealed bracket that locks to the top and bottom of the frame with tamper-proof set screws; the one-piece back plate attaches with a theft-resistant locking device.
Installation
Install the bracket level and plumb using #10 self-threading screws, which are by others. Hang the mirror and tighten the locking screws at the top and bottom. ASI’s installation guidance for the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards and 2015 ABA Standards says the reflecting surface’s bottom edge should be no higher than 40 in. above the finished floor; this is manufacturer guidance, not a blanket compliance determination.
