ASI 0600-2448 24 x 48 Inch Angle Frame Mirror
The ASI 0600-2448 is a surface-mounted, 24 x 48 inch plate-glass mirror for installations requiring a satin-finish stainless steel angle frame. Its concealed hanging bracket locks at the top and bottom, while a theft-resistant device secures the one-piece back plate.
Specifications
- Roll-formed 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel angle frame, 3/4 x 5/8 inch, with heliarc-welded corners polished smooth to a satin finish.
- Standard glazing is 1/4-inch plate glass, warranted against silver spoilage for 15 years from invoice date.
- Concealed hanging bracket locks to the top and bottom of the frame with tamper-proof set screws.
- One-piece back plate attaches to the frame with a theft-resistant locking device.
Installation guidance
Install the bracket level and plumb using #10 self-threading screws (by others). Hang the mirror and tighten the top and bottom locking screws. ASI's installation guidance for the 0600 series says the bottom edge of the reflecting surface should be no higher than 40 in above the finished floor for the cited ADA and ABA standards; this is manufacturer guidance, not a determination of project compliance.
