ASI 0600-1836-41 Matte Black Angle Frame Mirror, 18 x 36 Inch
The ASI 0600-1836-41 is a surface-mounted, 18-inch-wide by 36-inch-high plate glass mirror for commercial washrooms. Its distinguishing feature is a matte black powder-coated Type 304 stainless steel angle frame.
Specifications and mounting
- Frame: roll-formed, 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel angle, 3/4 x 5/8 inch (19 x 16 mm), with heliarc-welded corners polished smooth.
- Mirror: plate glass; the 0600-41 series is specified with plate glass.
- Mounting: a concealed hanging bracket locks to the top and bottom of the frame with tamper-proof set screws.
- Back plate: one piece, attached to the frame with a theft-resistant locking device.
Installation guidance
Install the bracket level and plumb with #10 self-threading screws (by others), hang the mirror, and tighten the locking screws at the top and bottom. ASI states that, for its cited 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards and 2015 ABA Standards, the bottom edge of the reflecting surface should be no higher than 40 inches above the finished floor; this is manufacturer installation guidance, not a compliance guarantee.
