ASI 0605-1836 Stainless Steel Angle Frame Mirror with Shelf, 18 x 36 in.
The ASI 0605-1836 is a surface-mounted 18 x 36 in. plate-glass mirror with a Type 304 stainless steel angle frame and an integrated 5 in.-wide shelf. Standard glazing is 1/4 in. plate glass.
Model details
- The 18-gauge stainless steel frame and shelf have unitized welded construction; the frame corners are welded and polished.
- The satin-finish shelf is welded to the face frame and has returned, hemmed edges.
- The manufacturer warrants the mirror glass against silver spoilage for 15 years from the invoice date.
Installation
Install the bracket level and plumb with #10 self-threading screws, which are by others. Hang the mirror on the bracket and tighten the locking screws at the top and bottom. ASI’s installation guidance for the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards and 2015 ABA Standards says the reflecting surface’s bottom edge should be no higher than 40 in. above the finished floor; this is manufacturer guidance, not a blanket compliance determination.
