ASI 0468-50 Recessed Dual Napkin and Tampon Vendor
This recessed vendor dispenses 30 single, boxed napkins and 27 cardboard-cylinder tampons. The 0468-50 configuration allows 50¢ operation; the 0468 series also offers 25¢ and free-operation configurations. The napkin and tampon dispensers operate independently. An indicator displays when a product is depleted and blocks the coin slot. The internal dispensing mechanisms are fastener-mounted and can be changed for a different coin denomination.
Provide a rough wall opening at least 16" W x 26" H x 6-1/4" D. The unit is semi-recess mounted with #10 self-threading screws, supplied by others. The manufacturer recommends placing the coin slot between 38" and 54" above the finished floor as guidance for 2010 ADA accessibility; this is not a blanket compliance determination.
Refill and service
Reload the supply tracks manually through the door as needed. Use the supplied weights on both feed tracks for positive feed. Two tumbler locks secure the doors; the internal coin box is keyed differently from the door locks.
Napkins are sized 4-1/4" x 3" x 1-1/8"; tampons are 3/4" in diameter x 5-1/4" long. The manufacturer lists compatible examples including Stayfree #4, Kotex #704 and Tampax T500. Construction is Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish.
