ASI 0468-25 Recessed Dual Napkin and Tampon Vendor
The ASI 0468-25 is the 25¢-operation version of ASI's recessed dual vendor. It holds 30 boxed napkins and 27 cardboard-cylinder tampons in the specified sizes, with independently operated dispensers.
Capacity, construction, and operation
- Napkins: Capacity 30; box size 4-1/4" x 3" x 1-1/8". Manufacturer-listed examples include Stayfree #4, Kotex #704, and Modess #4.
- Tampons: Capacity 27; cardboard tubes measure 3/4" diameter x 5-1/4". Manufacturer-listed examples include Tampax #T500 and Modess Tampons.
- Construction: 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish.
- Operation: The 0468-25 is configured for 25¢ operation. An indicator displays when product is depleted and blocks the coin slot.
- Security and servicing: Two tumbler locks secure the doors; the internal coin box is keyed differently from the door locks. Internally fastener-mounted dispensing mechanisms can be changed for a different coin denomination. Feed-track weights are supplied and must be used for positive feed.
Installation and refilling
Plan for a minimum rough wall opening of 16" W x 26" H x 6-1/4" D. Mount the unit using #10 self-threading screws (by others). ASI's installation guidance places the coin slot between 38" and 54" above the finished floor; actual accessibility depends on the installed conditions and applicable requirements.
To refill, open the door and manually reload the supply tracks as needed. Use the supplied weights on both tracks for positive feed. The 0468 series also has -50 (50¢) and -F (free, no-coin) configurations.
