ASI 0199-2-93 TURBO ADA Surface-Mounted High-Speed Hand Dryer

The ASI 0199-2-93 is a satin-finish Type 304 stainless-steel, surface-mounted automatic hand dryer for facilities with a 208–240 VAC supply. Its infrared sensor starts drying without touch, and ASI specifies drying in less than 15 seconds.

Installation and use

Confirm the site provides a 208–240 VAC circuit before selection; the 0199-2-93 is not the 115–120V or 277V version. ASI specifies installation by a qualified electrician. Its installation guidance says to position the bottom of the sensor lens no higher than 48 in. (1219 mm) above finished floor for unobstructed adult reach, or 44 in. (1118 mm) where the specified forward reach over an obstruction applies. Follow the supplied mounting template and installation guide for site conditions. During use, place hands beneath the sensor; the dryer starts automatically and stops when hands are removed from its sensing zone.
