ASI 7402-HB Recessed Toilet Tissue Holder with Hood
The ASI 7402-HB is a bright-finish, recessed single-roll holder for standard-core tissue rolls up to 6 in. (152 mm) in diameter. Its hood is Type 304 stainless steel; the spring-loaded roller is chrome-plated high-impact ABS plastic. The spindle revolves freely and holds the roll until its core is removed.
Specifications and mounting
- Capacity: one standard-core roll up to 6 in. (152 mm) in diameter.
- Overall dimensions: 6-5/16 in. x 6-5/16 in. (160 x 160 mm).
- Minimum rough wall opening for the standard drywall installation: 5-1/2 in. W x 5-1/2 in. H x 2 in. D (140 x 140 x 51 mm).
- ASI lists suffix D for drywall holes and suffix W for wetwall lugs; confirm the mounting option needed for the wall before ordering.
For the specified standard drywall mounting, use two #10 screws long enough to penetrate blocking behind the opening by approximately 1/2 in. (13 mm), and apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant behind the flange. Screws and sealant are by others; confirm suitable blocking and mounting provisions before installation. ASI's installation guidance for compliance with the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards places the roller centerline 19 in. (483 mm) minimum to 42 in. (1067 mm) maximum above finished floor, and 7–9 in. (178–229 mm) from the front of the commode.
A theft-resistant spindle is specified by adding R-009 after the model number.
