ASI 3501-30 30-Inch Straight Grab Bar
This smooth, 30-inch grab bar has 1-1/2-inch-diameter, 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel tubing with a satin finish. Its exposed mounting flanges are 3 inches in diameter and 1/8 inch thick, with three countersunk holes per flange.
Mounting requirements
Mounting screws are not included. Provide appropriate fasteners, anchoring, and wall backing for the installation conditions before finishing the wall; the mounting system is critical to the installed assembly. The manufacturer’s specification gives 33 to 36 inches above finished floor as its installation guidance for the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards; this guidance is not a blanket compliance guarantee.
