ASI 20692-636 Roval Surface-Mounted Shelf
The ASI 20692-636 is a 36-inch-wide, 6-inch-deep stainless steel shelf for wall or partition mounting. Its rounded edge and satin-finish Type 304 stainless steel distinguish this Roval series shelf; the manufacturer identifies it for wet (self-contained) or dry material storage.
Specifications and installation
- Fabricated from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish.
- Measures 6 inches deep by 36 inches wide; the edge is gently radiused 3/4 inch.
- Mounts through four keyholes and a locking hole in the rear support bracket; the listed keyhole spacing for this width is 8-1/4 inches.
- ASI specifies #12AB-14 or #12BP-14 self-threading pan-head screws, or other appropriate fasteners; fasteners are by others. Provide adequate wall blocking or other reinforcement for the shelf and intended load.
- For manufacturer guidance referencing the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards, install the shelf top between 32 and 48 inches above finished floor. ASI lists 42 inches above finished floor, or 18 inches above a washbasin, as typical general-utility placement.
