ASI 1214-2-42 Shower Curtain Rod Tubing
The ASI 1214-2-42 is a 42-inch, tubing-only shower curtain rod section for installation between two separately purchased #1214-1 mounting flanges. It is made from 1-inch-diameter, 20-gauge Type 304 stainless steel tubing with a satin finish.
Specifications and installation
- Length: 42 inches; diameter: 1 inch.
- Construction: 20-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish.
- Configuration: tubing only; mounting flanges (#1214-1) are sold separately.
- Install in a straight section between two flanges, with no more than 1/4 inch total wall clearance. Seal screw holes beneath each flange to help prevent sprayed water from entering the wall structure.
- When correctly installed, the rod is held captive by the flanges and supports specified shower curtains hung on hooks 1200-SHU or others (by others). It may rotate if turned by hand; significant body weight can bend it and pull it from the flanges.
