ASI 1204-96 96-Inch Stainless Steel Shower Curtain Rod
The ASI 1204-96 is a 96-inch wall-mounted shower curtain rod for installation in a straight section between two mounting flanges. It has 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel tubing with a satin finish; because it is longer than 72 inches, the manufacturer requires ceiling hanger model #1204-C.

- Bar diameter: 1-1/4 inches.

- Mount between two flanges; use ceiling hanger #1204-C for this rod length.
- For 72-inch curtains #1200 or #1200-V with standard hooks #1200-SHU, set the rod centerline 74-1/2 inches above finished floor or 67 inches above the tub rim to provide 6 inches of bottom overlap.
When correctly installed, the rod is held captive by the flanges and supports shower curtains hung on #1200-SHU hooks or other hooks. It may rotate in the flanges if turned by hand; do not suspend significant body weight from it, as the rod can bend and pull from the flanges.
