ASI 1204-24 Shower Curtain Rod, 24-Inch
The ASI 1204-24 is a 24-inch wall-mounted shower curtain rod for installations between two mounting flanges. It has 1-1/4-inch, 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel tubing with a satin finish.
Specifications and installation
- Length: 24 inches.
- Rod diameter: 1-1/4 inches (32 mm); tubing is 18 gauge (0.048 inch).
- Material and finish: Type 304 stainless steel with exposed satin-finish surfaces.
- Install the rod in a straight section between two mounting flanges. Rods longer than 72 inches require ceiling hanger Model 1204-C.
- For standard 72-inch curtains Model 1200 or 1200-V with standard hooks Model 1200-SHU, set the rod centerline 74-1/2 inches above finished floor (AFF), or 67 inches above the tub rim, to obtain 6 inches of bottom overlap.
- The properly installed rod is held captive by the flanges and may rotate when turned by hand. It supports shower curtains hung on hooks; significant body weight can bend the rod and pull it from the flanges. Manufacturer warranty: one year from invoice date.
