ASI 1204-90 90-Inch Stainless Steel Shower Curtain Rod
The ASI 1204-90 is a 90-inch wall-mounted shower curtain rod for installation between two mounting flanges. Its 1-1/4-inch-diameter Type 304 stainless steel bar has a satin finish; because this rod is longer than 72 inches, the manufacturer specifies a 1204-C ceiling hanger.
Specifications and installation
- 90-inch length; 1-1/4-inch diameter, 18-gauge tubing.
- Type 304 stainless steel with exposed satin-finish surfaces.
- Install the rod in the straight section between two mounting flanges; add ceiling hanger model 1204-C for lengths over 72 inches.
- For a 72-inch ASI 1200 or 1200-V curtain with 1200-SHU hooks, set the rod centerline at 74-1/2 inches above finished floor or 67 inches above the tub rim to obtain 6 inches of bottom overlap.
- When properly installed, the flanges retain the rod; it can rotate if turned by hand. The rod is intended to support shower curtains, not significant body weight.
