ASI 1204-1 Shower Curtain Rod End Flanges (Pair)
The ASI 1204-1 is a pair of satin-finish, surface-mounted end flanges for a 1-1/4-inch-diameter shower curtain rod. Made of 20-gauge Type 304 stainless steel, the flanges hold the rod in its straight section between two mounting points.
Specifications and installation
- Pair of flanges; rod Model 1204-2 is sold separately.
- Flange diameter: 3-3/16 inches; rod diameter: 1-1/4 inches; flange depth: 1/2 inch.
- Each flange has three countersunk 13/64-inch-diameter holes for #10 flat- or oval-head screws, furnished by others.
- Rods longer than 72 inches require ceiling hanger Model 1204-C18.
- For standard 72-inch curtains Model 1200 or 1200-V with hooks Model 1200-SHU, install the rod centerline 74-1/2 inches above finished floor or 67 inches above the tub rim to obtain 6 inches of bottom overlap.
The manufacturer states that a correctly installed rod and flanges support specified shower curtains hung on Model 1200-SHU hooks or others; significant body weight will bend the rod and may pull it from the flanges. The rod may rotate in the flanges if turned by hand.
