ASI 1214-1 End Flanges for 1" Shower Curtain Rods
This pair of surface-mounted flanges is made from 20-gauge type 304 stainless steel with satin-finish exposed surfaces. Each flange has three dimpled 17/64" holes for 1/4 (M6) or #10 (M5) oval-head screws. Screws are provided by others. Flanges only; rod #1214-2 is sold separately.
Installation and use
Install the rod in the straight section between two flanges with no more than 1/4" total wall clearance. Seal the wall screw holes beneath the flanges to help prevent sprayed water from entering the wall. For rods longer than 72", use ceiling hanger Model #1224-C18. A correctly installed rod and flanges support specified shower curtains hung on hooks, but the rod can bend and pull from the flanges if significant body weight is suspended from it.
