ASI 110 Recessed Chase-Mount Security Toilet Tissue Holder
This holder is fabricated from 16-gauge Type 304 stainless steel, with a satin-finish exterior and glass-blasted satin-finish interior. Its 4½-inch interior depth accommodates one standard toilet tissue roll. If hidden contraband is placed inside, the roll projects from the holder to allow detection. Two welded T-nuts on the back provide for rear mounting.
Installation
Recess the holder into a 6-inch-diameter rough wall opening with clearance into the chase. Check the wall thickness when planning the installation; the manufacturer lists wall-thickness options up to 6 inches, 8 inches, and over 8 inches, with W to be specified. For mounting, the holder uses two threaded rods adjusted to the wall thickness with washers and nuts. ASI's guidance for the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards specifies a centerline 19–44 inches above the finished floor and a roll leading edge no farther than 36 inches from the back wall behind the commode; this is manufacturer guidance, not a blanket compliance determination.
