ASI 0692-512 Surface-Mounted Stainless Steel Shelf
This 5-inch-deep by 12-inch-long shelf is fabricated from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish. Its hemmed front edge adds rigidity and safety. ASI specifies the shelf for wet or dry materials storage.
Mount the shelf to a wall or partition through the support-bracket holes using #10 self-threading screws or other appropriate fasteners (by others). Provide adequate in-wall blocking or other reinforcement for the shelf and its intended load. When properly and securely mounted to adequate wall reinforcement or studs, the shelf is stable and stationary. ASI’s installation guidance for the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards places the shelf top between 32 and 48 inches above the finished floor; the typical general-utility height is 42 inches, or 18 inches above a washbasin. The warranty is one year from the invoice date.
