ASI 0692-560 Stainless Steel Shelf
This surface-mounted shelf measures 5 inches deep by 60 inches long (127 x 1524 mm). It is fabricated from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish and a hemmed front edge for rigidity and safety. The manufacturer lists it for wet (self-contained) or dry materials storage.
Mounting and placement
Mount to a wall or partition through the support-bracket holes using #10 self-threading screws or other appropriate fasteners; fasteners are supplied by others. Provide adequate in-wall blocking or other reinforcement to support the shelf and its intended load. The manufacturer specifies a shelf-top height of 32 to 48 inches above finished floor for compliance with the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards; verify applicable project requirements. Typical general-utility placement is 42 inches above finished floor or 18 inches above a washbasin.
