ASI 0692-536 5 x 36 Inch Surface-Mounted Stainless Steel Shelf
The ASI 0692-536 is a 5-inch-deep by 36-inch-long wall- or partition-mounted shelf for wet (self-contained) or dry materials storage. Its Type 304 stainless steel construction and hemmed front edge distinguish this satin-finish, 18-gauge model.
Specifications and installation
- Dimensions: 5 in. deep x 36 in. long (127 x 914 mm).
- Construction: 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish; hemmed front edge for rigidity and safety.
- Mount through the support-bracket holes using #10 self-threading screws or other appropriate fasteners; fasteners are by others.
- Provide adequate in-wall blocking or other reinforcement to support the shelf and its intended loading.
- For the manufacturer's cited 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards installation guidance, position the shelf top 32–48 in. above the finished floor. ASI gives 42 in. above the finished floor, or 18 in. above a washbasin, as typical general-utility placement.
