6 x 36 in. Surface-Mounted Stainless Steel Shelf
Fabricated from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish, this shelf measures 6 in. deep x 36 in. long (152 x 914 mm). Its hemmed front edge provides rigidity and safety. The shelf is suitable for wet (self-contained) or dry materials storage.
Mounting requirements
Surface mount the shelf to a wall or partition using #10 self-threading screws or other appropriate fasteners through the support-bracket holes; fasteners are by others. Provide adequate in-wall blocking or other reinforcement to support the shelf and its intended loading. For the manufacturer's cited 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards installation guidance, place the shelf top 32–48 in. above finished floor. Typical general-utility placement is 42 in. above finished floor or 18 in. above a washbasin.
