ASI 0625-1624 Channel Frame Mirror with Shelf
This 16 x 24-inch surface-mounted mirror has a one-piece, roll-formed 20-gauge Type 304 stainless steel channel frame with a satin finish. The 1/2-inch channel encases the mirror and backing, forming tight mitered corners. Its 18-gauge satin-finish stainless steel shelf is welded to the face frame, measures 5 inches deep, and has returned, hemmed edges.
The standard plate/float-glass mirror is warranted against silver spoilage for 15 years from the invoice date. Two wall brackets support the mirror, which is secured with a theft-resistant locking screw. Install the brackets level and plumb using #8 or #10 pan-head screws (by others). The locking screw is supplied separately, taped to the mirror back, and should be started before hanging the mirror. For the manufacturer’s cited 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards and ABA Standards 2015 guidance, the bottom edge of the reflecting surface should be no higher than 40 inches above the finished floor.
