ASI 0620-1616 Chan-Lok Stainless Steel Plate Glass Mirror

The ASI 0620-1616 is a 16 in. wide x 16 in. high, surface-mounted plate glass mirror for restroom installations. Its one-piece, satin-finish Type 304 stainless steel channel encases the mirror and backing, with tight mitered corners and a theft-resistant locking screw.

Construction and specifications

• Mirror: standard 1/4 in. plate glass.
• Frame: 20-gauge Type 304 (18-8) stainless steel with a satin finish.
• A one-piece roll-formed channel encases the mirror and backing; the corners are tightly mitered.
• The mirror hangs on wall brackets and is secured with a theft-resistant locking screw.
• The manufacturer warrants the mirror against silver spoilage for 15 years from the invoice date.

Mounting and installation

Install the wall brackets level and plumb using #8 or #10 pan-head screws (supplied by others). Start the supplied #6-32 x 3/4 in. locking screw before hanging the mirror, then tighten it at the bottom. The manufacturer’s installation guidance for compliance with the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards and ABA Standards 2015 specifies that the bottom edge of the reflecting surface be no higher than 40 in. above the finished floor.
