ASI 0620-1628 Chan-Lok Plate Glass Mirror
The ASI 0620-1628 is a surface-mounted plate glass mirror with a one-piece, roll-formed channel frame. The 20-gauge Type 304 satin-finish stainless steel channel measures 1/2" x 5/8", encases the mirror and backing, and forms tight mitered corners. Wall brackets support the mirror, which is secured with a theft-resistant locking screw.
Mirror and frame details
- Standard glazing is #1 quality, 1/4" plate/float glass, silver-coated and hermetically sealed with an electrolytic copper coating.
- The mirror is warranted against silver spoilage for 15 years from the invoice date.
Mounting guidance
Install the wall brackets level and plumb using #8 or #10 pan-head screws, which are provided by others. Hang the mirror on the brackets and tighten the #6-32 x 3/4" Phillips pan-head locking screw, supplied separately and taped to the mirror back. Start the locking screw before hanging the mirror. For installation guidance related to the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards and ABA Standards 2015, the manufacturer specifies that the bottom edge of the reflecting surface should be no higher than 40" above the finished floor.
