ASI 0600-2822 Inter-Lok Angle Frame Plate Glass Mirror
The ASI 0600-2822 is a 28" W x 22" H surface-mounted mirror with plate glass and a satin-finish Type 304 stainless steel angle frame. Its concealed hanging bracket and locking hardware secure the mirror and back plate to the frame.
Construction and mounting
- The 3/4" x 5/8" (19 x 16 mm) frame is roll-formed from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel.
- Frame corners are heliarc welded, ground, and polished smooth to a uniform satin finish.
- The mirror mounts on a concealed bracket and locks to the top and bottom of the frame with tamper-proof set screws.
- A one-piece back plate attaches to the frame with a theft-resistant locking device.
- The manufacturer specifies 1/4" (6.4 mm) plate glass and warrants it against silver spoilage for 15 years from the invoice date.
Installation guidance
Install the bracket level and plumb using #10 self-threading screws, which are by others. Hang the mirror and tighten the locking screws at the top and bottom. The manufacturer’s guidance for 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards and 2015 ABA Standards places the bottom edge of the reflecting surface no higher than 40" (1016 mm) above the finished floor; confirm placement for the project.
