ASI 0556 Surface-Mounted Bed Pan and Urinal Holder
The ASI 0556 is a surface-mounted holder for one conventional bedpan and one urinal bottle. The bottle sits in the top strap rack and the bedpan in the bottom strap rack; both items are by others, not included, and must be checked for fit before installation.
Capacity and construction
- Type 304 stainless steel with satin finish; 18-gauge back plate and 16-gauge straps.
- Overall dimensions: 12" W x 27" H x 4-3/8" D.
- Surface-mounted design with mounting holes in the back plate.
Installation and fit
Secure the rack to the wall with six #10 self-threading screws (by others) through the back-plate mounting holes. Manufacturer installation guidance for the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards specifies a maximum top-of-rack height of 54" above finished floor where clear-floor side-reach access is provided, or 48" otherwise. Check the physical bedpan and urinal bottle for fit before mounting.
