ASI 0535-2430 Fixed Tilt Mirror, 24 x 30 Inch
The ASI 0535-2430 is a surface-mounted, 24 x 30 inch fixed-tilt mirror intended to provide visibility for wheelchair users. Its satin-finish Type 304 stainless steel frame tapers from 4 inches deep at the top to 1 inch at the bottom.
Specifications and installation
- Frame: 20-gauge Type 304, alloy 18-8 stainless steel with a satin finish.
- Standard glazing: plate glass, unless otherwise specified.
- Mounting: Use four #10 pan-head self-threading screws, supplied by others, through the back's keyhole slots.
- Allow 5/8 inch of clearance above the unit to engage the keyhole slots on pre-installed screws. Concealed spring tabs lock the mounting flanges onto the screws when properly installed.
- Manufacturer installation guidance for the cited 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards and 2015 ABA Standards is to position the bottom of the reflecting surface no higher than 40 inches above the finished floor; this guidance is not a compliance guarantee.
