ASI 0481-HC Dual-Access Toilet Seat Cover, Tissue Dispenser, and Napkin Disposal
The ASI 0481-HC is a partition-mounted combination unit for a barrier-free compartment, with the toilet tissue dispenser and waste receptacle on opposite sides. Both sides are usable, but the access door must be opposite the barrier-free stall so staff can service the unit from the other side. One side mounts flush to allow grab-bar clearance.
Capacity, construction, and security
- Holds 1,000 toilet seat covers and four standard or 1,800-sheet toilet tissue rolls, sized 4-1/2" x 5-1/4" diameter.
- Includes a removable 1.3-gallon (4.9 L) waste container.
- Seat-cover, disposal, and tissue-dispenser doors are 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel; the face frame and cabinet are 22-gauge. Exposed surfaces have a satin finish.
- Two tumbler locks secure the cabinet door. Four supplied theft- and vandal-resistant rollers have high-impact-resistant plastic bodies and molded-in stainless steel endpins.
- Internal baffles prevent line of sight between stalls. An optional grab bar is not supplied.
Partition fit and installation
The unit measures 17-3/8" x 30-5/8" x 4-1/4". It requires a 15-1/2" W x 28-7/8" H cutout in a 1/2" to 3-3/4" thick partition; one trim flange adjusts to partition thickness. Mounting screws are supplied. Manufacturer guidance for the cited ICC/ANSI and ADA accessibility standards places the top of the cutout 43-3/4" to 50-7/8" above finished floor; the manufacturer separately specifies a 42-7/8" maximum for CalDAG mounting height. Confirm the applicable requirements for the installation. If the optional grab bar is used, the manufacturer specifies its grip surface at least 33" above finished floor.
