ASI 0457-2 Semi-Recessed Paper Towel Dispenser
This compact manual pull-type dispenser holds 350 C-fold or 475 multi-fold paper towels. Towels self-feed until depleted, and a partial load can be replenished in place while maintaining proper feeding. The Type 304 stainless steel has a satin finish, and the towel slot has a fully hemmed edge.
The unit is semi-recessed with a 2-inch collar. Plan for a rough-wall opening of 11-1/4 inches wide by 15-3/4 inches high by at least 2 inches deep. Mount with #10 self-threading screws through the concealed holes; screws are by others. The pin-type tumbler lock is operated with the key provided. Manufacturer guidance for 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards specifies positioning the towel-slot centerline no higher than 48 inches above the finished floor. Install the collar on the cabinet before placing it in the wall recess, following the collar data sheet.
Refill from the bottom through two push-up flaps after unlocking the door. When topping up a partial load, interleave the leading edge of a multi-fold towel with the trailing edge of the existing stack; load C-fold towels with the flaps facing down.
