The Sloan SF-2100 and SF-2150 Series electronic pedestal hand washing faucets operate by infrared sensor keeping sanitation and hygiene as a top priority in public restrooms. When the user enters the sensor's effective range, the solenoid activates the water flow. Tempered water flows from the faucet until the user steps away.

With no handles to turn or buttons to push, the Sloan SF-2100 and SF-2150 Series electronic pedestal hand washing faucets are a clear answer to combating the spread of germs throughout the public restroom. Sloan touch-less faucets should be installed in all public washrooms.

SF-Series faucets for tempered or hot/cold water delivery offer contemporary styling at an affordable price, while providing all the convenience and hygienic advantages of touch-free, sensor activation. Expert Insight

Why We Recommend the Sloan SF-2100-4

The Sloan SF-2100-4 Electronic Pedestal Faucet (3362103) offers dependable touch-free hand washing at a budget-conscious price. We often recommend this plug-powered, low-body faucet for commercial restrooms that have an accessible electrical receptacle and want to minimize routine battery dependence. Its adjustable infrared sensor, filtered solenoid valve, serviceable strainer, and 0.5 GPM SFP-13 multi-laminar spray head provide practical performance for everyday use.

The SF-2100 can also be paired with the optional Sloan ESD-2100 matching soap dispenser to create a coordinated touch-free hand-washing station. Planning both fixtures together helps maintain consistent styling and proper spacing across the sink deck.

Best Applications

The SF-2100-4 is well suited for schools, offices, restaurants, retail stores, clinics, libraries, and other commercial restrooms with strict project budgets. The included 4-inch trim plate provides a finished appearance on compatible centerset sinks, while the plug-in adapter and four included AA batteries provide the components required for its specified power configuration.

Quick Tip

Provide a code-compliant electrical receptacle in an accessible, dry location beneath the sink and avoid routing the adapter cord where it can be pinched or exposed to standing water. The solenoid, strainer, batteries, power adapter, and plumbing connections should remain accessible for future inspection and service.

Common Question

Why does the Sloan SF-2100-4 include batteries if it uses a plug-in adapter?
The faucet's primary power is supplied through the included plug-in adapter, while the four included AA batteries provide backup power for the specified configuration. Install both power sources according to Sloan's instructions so the faucet is prepared for normal operation and temporary electrical interruptions.
