Which Palmer Fixture Hand Dryer Is Right for Your Restroom?
The Palmer Fixture Storm line covers several different commercial restroom needs rather than relying on one dryer design for every application.
BluStorm: Consider it when you want Palmer Fixture's established high-speed dryer with its recognizable blue action light and conventional hands-under operation.
EcoStorm: A practical option when purchase price matters but you still want a high-speed commercial hand dryer.
Storm Rider: Consider it when adjustable operation and modern styling are important.
BluStorm Bolt: A particularly useful option where shallow wall projection is an important part of the restroom layout.
iStorm2: The Palmer Fixture model to consider when you specifically want a hands-in drying experience with enhanced filtration and water management.
Palmer Fixture BluStorm Hand Dryers
BluStorm is one of the Palmer Fixture names most closely associated with commercial hand drying. The original BluStorm combines high-speed drying with a blue action light that identifies the most effective drying area.
ProDryers has unusual firsthand experience with this model: we have had a BluStorm installed in our own restroom since 2011. That gives us long-term familiarity with the product beyond simply reading a specification sheet.
The BluStorm family has expanded beyond the original dryer and now includes the shallow-profile BluStorm Bolt, giving buyers another option when installation depth is especially important.
Palmer Fixture EcoStorm Hand Dryers
EcoStorm targets a different part of the commercial hand dryer market. It provides high-speed drying at a relatively economical equipment cost, making it worth considering for projects where budget plays a major role in product selection.
The EcoStorm family includes standard wall-mounted models as well as recessed configurations, allowing facilities to choose a configuration based on the restroom layout and installation requirements.

Palmer Fixture Storm Rider Hand Dryers
Storm Rider adds another high-speed hands-under design to the Palmer Fixture lineup. Adjustable operating characteristics give facilities greater control over how the dryer performs in a particular restroom.
This makes Storm Rider worth comparing with BluStorm and EcoStorm rather than assuming that all Palmer Fixture Storm dryers are essentially the same product.

Palmer Fixture iStorm2 Hands-In Hand Dryer
iStorm2 is fundamentally different from Palmer Fixture's conventional hands-under Storm dryers. Users place their hands inside the drying area instead of holding them beneath a wall-mounted air outlet.
The iStorm2 uses airflow from multiple directions along with HEPA and carbon filtration. Water removed during drying is managed through an absorbent plate and drip-tray system rather than simply falling to the restroom floor.

Palmer Fixture Hand Dryers for Commercial Restrooms
Palmer Fixture Storm dryers can serve offices, schools, restaurants, retail facilities and other commercial environments. The range gives buyers several ways to balance equipment cost, drying format, wall depth, sound, filtration and appearance.
That variety is one of the advantages of the Palmer Fixture line. A facility does not have to force every project into the same dryer design simply because it wants to remain with the same manufacturer.
Palmer Fixture Restroom Accessories
Palmer Fixture is more than a hand dryer manufacturer. The company also produces a broad range of commercial restroom and washroom accessories.
Depending on the project, Palmer Fixture products can include:
- Paper towel dispensers
- Soap dispensers
- Toilet tissue dispensers
- Napkin dispensers
- Other commercial restroom dispensing products and accessories
This broader product range can be useful for contractors, facilities and property managers sourcing multiple restroom products from the same manufacturer.
Palmer Fixture vs. Other Hand Dryer Brands
Palmer Fixture occupies a useful place in the commercial hand dryer market because its Storm family covers several price points and drying formats.
The lineup ranges from the value-oriented EcoStorm to BluStorm, Storm Rider and BluStorm Bolt, with iStorm2 covering the hands-in segment. That makes Palmer Fixture worth considering alongside larger commercial hand dryer brands when the specific product fits the project.
