ASI 7382-S Satin-Finish Surface-Mounted Hat and Coat Hook
The ASI 7382-S is a Type 304 stainless steel double hook for hanging coats and hats on a door or wall. Its satin finish distinguishes it from the bright-finish 7382-B; the hook measures 1" x 7" (25 x 178 mm).
Specifications and installation
- Overall dimensions: 2" W x 7" H x 3" D (51 x 178 x 76 mm).
- The post is 1/2" x 1" (13 x 25 mm) rectangular tubing, with a formed mounting flange and bracket welded at the end; the hook is internally welded to the outer end.
- Surface-mount on a door or wall using #10 self-threading screws through the mounting-plate holes into suitable prepared mountings, or other suitable hardware. Screws and mounting hardware are by others and should suit the mounting surface.
- Hang the post-and-flange assembly on the mounting plate and tighten the setscrew to lock the unit in place.
For accessibility planning, ASI’s installation guidance specifies maximum hook-top heights that vary with the available reach and any obstruction: 48" AFF for clear forward or side reach; 46" AFF for side reach over an obstruction with reach depth greater than 10" and less than 25"; or 44" AFF for forward reach over an obstruction with reach depth greater than 20" and less than 25". These are manufacturer installation instructions, not a blanket compliance determination. For general utility, ASI specifies a mounting-plate centerline of 68" to 72" AFF.
Care and warranty
Clean regularly with a soft cloth and mild detergent, then wipe with a clean water-moistened cloth and dry. Avoid muriatic acid, caustic or abrasive materials, and harsh detergents outside pH 7 ± 1.5. ASI lists a one-year warranty from the invoice date.
