ASI 5001-SS Disposa-Valve Soap Dispenser
This surface-mounted dispenser has a type 304 stainless steel housing and wall bracket, a 16-gauge body, and a 22-gauge satin-finish door. The door has a full-length stainless steel piano hinge and a tumbler lock. Its lever is cast Zamak alloy; the heavy-duty vinyl valve is permanently attached to a disposable cartridge. A new cartridge and valve are provided with each refill.
Soap dispenses when the lever is pulled forward. Disposable cartridges are also available for hand lotion, heavy-duty cleaner, waterless cleaner, and antiseptic soap; typical cartridges are described by the manufacturer as good for about 1,500 washings.
Mounting and lever placement
Mount to a wall or partition using No. 10 screws through the concealed mounting holes; screws are not supplied. For accessibility, the manufacturer’s installation guidance places the lever no higher than 54 inches above the finished floor for clear-floor side reach, 48 inches for forward reach only, or 46 inches for side reach over an obstruction. For general utility, the guidance is 46 inches above the finished floor or 15 inches above the wash basin.
