ASI 145 Surface-Mounted Soap Dish, Chase Mount
The ASI 145 is a satin-finish Type 304 stainless steel soap dish for chase (rear) mounting. Its three drainage holes let water drain from the dish; select the supplied threaded-rod length to match the wall thickness.
Specifications and mounting
- Dimensions: 5 inches wide x 2-1/2 inches high x 2-3/4 inches deep.
- Construction: satin-finish Type 304 stainless steel.
- Three drainage holes.
- Two welded-on 1/4-20 internally threaded posts accept the supplied 1/4-20 zinc-plated steel rods.
- Two washers and two nuts are supplied for mounting to the finished wall.
- Specify wall thickness when ordering: suffix LT6 for up to 6 inches, 68 for 6 to 8 inches, or GT8=XXXX for over 8 inches.
Confirm the wall thickness before ordering so the chase-mount rods can be sized for the installation. The manufacturer recommends maximum installation heights of 48 inches AFF in showers, 36 inches AFF in bathtubs, 46 inches AFF where only side reach over an obstruction is provided, or 44 inches AFF where forward reach over a vanity basin is provided.
