ASI 1204-42 Shower Curtain Rod
This 42-inch wall-mounted rod uses 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel tubing with a satin finish and a 1-1/4-inch outside diameter. Install it in the straight section between two mounting flanges.
For a standard 72-inch ASI 1200 or 1200-V shower curtain with standard 1200-SHU hooks, position the rod centerline 74-1/2 inches above the finished floor or 67 inches above the tub rim to provide 6 inches of bottom overlap.
When properly installed, the rod is held captive by the flanges and may rotate if turned by hand. It supports shower curtains hung on 1200-SHU hooks or other hooks; suspending significant body weight can bend the rod and pull it from the flanges.
