ASI 0712 Surface-Mounted Retractable Clothes Line
The ASI 0712 is a surface-mounted retractable clothes line for installation between opposing finished walls, including over a bathtub or in a shower. It provides a 72-inch line and fits wall spacing up to 6 feet; its cover plate is Type 304 stainless steel with a bright finish.

Installation and operation
For the manufacturer’s 2010 ADA installation guidance, place the cord knob no higher than 48 inches above the finished floor. Mount the bracket and nylon disc on one wall, and the knob retainer and oval nylon disc on the opposite wall. Self-threading screws are supplied by others. For masonry, the installer provides fiber plugs or expansion shields; for drywall or plaster, provide concealed backing or toggle bolts suitable for the wall and local codes.
To extend the line, release the locking nut, pull out the cord, attach the knob to the retainer, and tighten the nut enough to hold the line taut. To retract it, release the nut and remove the knob from the retainer; the spring mechanism draws the cord into the cover plate.
