ASI 0620-2442 Chan-Lok Surface-Mounted Plate Glass Mirror
The ASI 0620-2442 is a 24 in. W x 42 in. H surface-mounted plate glass mirror. Its one-piece, 20-gauge Type 304 satin-finish stainless steel channel encases the mirror and backing with tight mitered corners; theft-resistant screws secure it to wall brackets.
Specifications
- Overall size: 24 in. W x 42 in. H (610 x 1067 mm).
- Frame: 20-gauge Type 304 (18-8) stainless steel with a satin finish.
- Standard glazing: 1/4 in. #1 quality plate/float glass, silver-coated and hermetically sealed with electrolytic copper plating.
- Glass is warranted against silver spoilage for 15 years from the invoice date.
- Expanded polyethylene microcell foam filler: 1/8 in. (3.2 mm) total thickness; described by ASI as abrasion-resistant, shock-absorbing, and water-resistant.
Installation guidance
Install the H wall brackets level and plumb with #8 or #10 pan-head screws (by others). Start the supplied bottom locking screw, taped separately to the mirror back, before hanging the mirror; then hang it on the brackets and tighten the screw. ASI's installation guidance for the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards and 2015 ABA Standards states that the bottom edge of the reflecting surface should be no higher than 40 in. (1016 mm) above the finished floor. Confirm project requirements for the installation.
