ASI 0620-2016 Stainless Steel Chan-Lok Frame Plate Glass Mirror
The ASI 0620-2016 is a surface-mounted plate glass mirror with a one-piece stainless steel Chan-Lok frame that encases the mirror and backing.
Construction and specifications
- Frame: 20-gauge type 304 (18-8) stainless steel with exposed satin-finish surfaces and tight mitered corners.
- Standard glazing: 1/4-in. plate/float glass, silver-coated and hermetically sealed with electrolytic copper plating.
- Backing filler: 1/8-in. expanded polyethylene microcell foam, described by ASI as abrasion-resistant, shock-absorbing, and water-resistant.
- Mounting: H wall brackets; a theft-resistant locking screw secures the mirror at the bottom.
- Warranty: ASI warrants against silver spoilage for 15 years from the invoice date.
Installation
ASI instructs installers to set the H wall brackets level and plumb using #8 or #10 pan-head screws supplied by others. Start the supplied locking screw before hanging the mirror, then tighten it at the bottom.
