ASI 0605-1630 Angle Frame Plate Glass Mirror with Shelf
The ASI 0605-1630 is a surface-mounted plate glass mirror with an integrated 5-inch-wide stainless steel shelf. The Type 304, alloy 18-8 frame and shelf have a satin finish; the shelf is welded to the face frame and has returned and hemmed edges.
Key specifications
- Mirror: standard 1/4-inch plate glass, silver coated and hermetically sealed; ASI warrants it against silver spoilage for 15 years from the invoice date.
- Frame and shelf: 18-gauge Type 304, alloy 18-8 stainless steel with a satin finish; frame corners are welded and polished smooth.
- Shelf: 5 inches wide, welded to the face frame, with returned and hemmed edges.
- Mounting: a concealed hanger bracket and tamper-proof locking screws secure the mirror at the top and bottom.
Installation
Install the bracket level and plumb using #10 self-threading screws, which are by others. Hang the mirror and tighten the locking screws at the top and bottom. ASI's guidance for the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards and 2015 ABA Standards says the reflecting surface's bottom edge should be no higher than 40 inches above the finished floor; verify applicable project requirements.
