ASI 0533-48 Stainless Steel Corner Guard
The ASI 0533-48 is a 48-inch-high, surface-mounted outside corner guard for finished walls. This model is the adhesive-mount version and has a 1/8-inch outside radius. It is made of 18-gauge Type 304 (18-8) stainless steel with exposed satin-finish surfaces.
Specifications and placement
- Exposed edges are smooth and deburred; the rough-textured back is intended to facilitate adherence to the wall.
- A removable PVC film protects exposed surfaces during shipment.
- The guard can be installed flush to the floor or at base height when a bull-nose floor base is used.
- The 0533 series also lists screw mounting; screws are supplied by others. This model is identified as adhesive-mount.
Care
Protect the stainless steel from muriatic acid, caustic or abrasive materials, and harsh detergents with a pH outside 7 ± 1.5. For satin surfaces, the manufacturer recommends stainless steel cleaner and a blue (less aggressive) or green (more aggressive) 3M Scotch-Brite pad if discoloration occurs.
