ASI 0458-9 Surface-Mounted Waste Receptacle
The ASI 0458-9 is a 12-gallon (45.4 L) surface-mounted waste receptacle. Its removable container locks into the cabinet and is retained by a keyed tumbler lock for servicing.
Specifications and service
- Capacity: 12 gallons (45.4 L); the container is emptied manually according to maintenance needs.
- Construction: Frame, cabinet, and waste receptacle are 22-gauge Type 304 stainless steel alloy 18-8 with a satin finish. Hemmed edges and internal hooks for hanging an optional reusable vinyl bag are included.
- Bag option: Reusable vinyl bag model 58-PY is supplied separately by others.
- Dimensions: 17-1/4 inches wide by 30-1/2 inches high by 8 inches deep; standard projection is 8-1/4 inches.
- Security: The tumbler lock is keyed alike to other ASI washroom equipment and retains the removable container.
Mount to the wall with #10 self-threading screws through the concealed mounting holes; screws are by others. Install the surface-mount collar on the cabinet before mounting the unit, following the collar data sheet. The manufacturer advises installing the unit with its top edge no higher than 48 inches above the finished floor for guidance concerning the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards.
