Chicago Faucets 1920-133JKNF

The Chicago Faucets 1920-133JKNF is a specialized 34-inch Vinyl Inlet Hose designed specifically for the 1920 Series Auto-Drain™ shower systems. While similar in function to the stainless steel version, this vinyl hose offers a smooth, non-porous surface that is exceptionally easy to clean and sanitize, making it a preferred choice for high-sterile environments and "clean-room" medical applications. This hose serves as the primary internal supply line connecting the shower valve to the automatic drain assembly. As an ECAST® product, it is constructed with lead-free materials to ensure full compliance with federal safe drinking water standards while supporting the system's mission to eliminate stagnant water and biofilm.

Specifications:

  • Flexible gray vinyl
  • Inlet: 1/2"-14 NPSM female thread inlet
  • Outlet: 1/2"-14 NPSM female thread outlet

Expert Insight:

The 1920-133JKNF is the "hygienic alternative" to the braided stainless steel 1920-033JKNF. In many hospital protocols, smooth vinyl is preferred because it doesn't have the "nooks and crannies" of a metal braid where soap scum or bacteria can hide. Installation Tip: Because vinyl has a different bend radius than stainless steel, ensure the hose creates a smooth, downward arc toward the drain valve. Pro Tip: Over time, vinyl can become less flexible if exposed to extremely high-temperature "thermal flush" disinfection cycles. If the hose feels brittle or shows signs of yellowing, replace it to ensure the Auto-Drain vacuum seal remains intact. A stiff hose can put unnecessary stress on the plastic fittings of the drain manifold, leading to hairline cracks and leaks.
