ASI 7487-SM Surface Mounting Collar
This collar adapts ASI Model 0487-L/R cabinets for surface mounting where the wall lacks sufficient depth for recessing or the wall material makes a cutout impractical. It is sized to fit snugly beneath the cabinet’s 1/4" face-flange return. After installation, the collar is non-removable.
The collar is made of 22-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with exposed surfaces in a satin finish.
Installation
Mount the collar to the wall with four #10 self-threading Phillips pan-head screws (by others). Slide the cabinet into the installed collar and secure it from inside with four supplied #10-32 x 3/8" button-head hex-drive screws.
