ASI 3933 Anchor for 3/4-Inch to 1-Inch Partition-Mounted Grab Bars
The ASI 3933 is an anchor for grab bars mounted through 3/4-inch to 1-inch (19–25 mm) partitions with snap-on flange covers.
Specifications and kit contents
- Fabricated from alloy 18-8 Type 304 stainless steel.
- Plate measures 3 inches (76 mm) in diameter and 1/8 inch (3 mm) thick; the exposed side has a No. 4 satin finish.
- Two 1/4-20 posts are welded to the concealed side of the plate.
- Kit contains one plate and two 1/4-20 x 3/4-inch Phillips pan-head machine screws. Specify one kit per flange.
Installation
Place the grab bar at the desired location on the partition and mark the mounting holes. Drill 3/8-inch (10 mm) diameter holes through the partition at the marked locations. Place the anchor on the far side of the partition and mount the grab bar to it from the near side using the provided 1/4-20 machine screws. Refer to the grab bar specification for the correct installation procedure and strength data.
