ASI 0620-4836 Stainless Steel Chan-Lok Plate Glass Mirror
The ASI 0620-4836 is a 48" W x 36" H, surface-mounted plate glass mirror for commercial restroom projects. Its one-piece satin-finish stainless steel channel encases the mirror and backing, with tight mitered corners.
Specifications and installation
- Frame: 20-gauge type 304 (18-8) stainless steel with a satin finish; the one-piece channel measures 1/2" x 5/8".
- Standard glazing: 1/4" #1-quality plate/float glass, warranted against silver spoilage for 15 years from the invoice date.
- The mirror hangs on wall brackets and is secured with a theft-resistant locking screw.
- Install the H wall brackets level and plumb using #8 or #10 pan-head screws (by others). Start the supplied locking screw before hanging the mirror, then tighten it at the bottom.
- ASI installation guidance for the 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards and ABA Standards 2015 calls for the bottom edge of the reflecting surface to be no higher than 40" above finished floor; this is installation guidance, not a compliance determination.
