ASI 0548 Recessed Stainless Steel Sharps Disposal Cabinet
The ASI 0548 is a recessed stainless steel sharps disposal cabinet for one BD Sharps Collector model 305443; the collector is not included. Its biohazard label and tumbler-locked, bottom-hinged door distinguish the cabinet, which is made of satin-finish 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel.

Installation and operation
Mount in the wall recess through the cabinet’s side holes using four #10 screws (by others). The manufacturer’s installation guidance for the stated 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards specifies a maximum height of 35-3/4 in. from the finished floor to the bottom of the rough wall opening; for general utility, it gives a 38 in. maximum. This is manufacturer guidance, not a blanket compliance determination.
Sharps are deposited through the top of the specified collector according to its instructions. Replace the collector manually according to maintenance needs; the locked cabinet prevents unauthorized removal.
