ASI 0336-D Vanity-Mounted Manual Foam Soap Dispenser
This 34 oz. (1.0 L) dispenser has a 6-inch spout. Its plunger cap, stem and body, spout, escutcheon and base sleeve are stainless steel; the refill container is translucent, shatter-resistant HDPE. The manufacturer specifies a Type 304 stainless steel satin finish.
Installation requires a 7/8-inch-diameter countertop cutout; the threaded shank accommodates countertops up to 3-1/4 inches thick. The spout projects 6 inches. Soap can be replenished by unscrewing the stem and body to reach the fill opening or by removing the tank from beneath the vanity. Refill when needed; dispensing continues until the soap level falls below the top of the intake bottom fitting.
Soap and operation
- Use liquid soap with viscosity of 1–100 cP and pH of 5.5–8.5.
- The manufacturer says the manual operation meets 2010 ADA actuation guidance: no more than 5 lbf to actuate, without grasping or twisting. This is manufacturer guidance, not a blanket determination of installation compliance.
- The manufacturer advises avoiding soaps containing reportable salts, chlorides or alcohols.
