Why We Recommend the Sloan ESD-2000-PB
The Sloan ESD-2000-PB Electronic Foam Soap Dispenser (3346145) combines touch-free dispensing with a polished brass finish for commercial restrooms that require a more distinctive, coordinated appearance. Its sensor delivers a premeasured amount of foam soap on demand, while sealed spout electronics and drip-resistant operation help maintain a cleaner sink area. The replaceable soap bottle and easy-release collar also simplify routine refill changes.
ESD-2000 Series soap dispensers pair especially well with the Sloan EAF-200 Optima® hardwired-powered, deck-mounted mid-body faucet. Using complementary Sloan fixtures creates a coordinated touch-free hand-washing station with consistent styling and convenient commercial performance.
Best Applications
The ESD-2000-PB is well suited for hotels, restaurants, clubs, theaters, executive offices, historic renovations, and other commercial restrooms where the dispenser finish contributes to the overall design. It is also a practical choice for projects specifying an EAF-200 Optima faucet and wanting a compatible Sloan soap dispenser with a similar streamlined profile.
Quick Tip
Plan the faucet and dispenser locations together before drilling the sink deck or countertop. Confirm adequate spacing between the ESD-2000 dispenser, EAF-200 faucet, basin, backsplash, and other accessories. The area below the deck must also remain accessible for the soap bottle, battery pack, tubing, plumbing connections, and future maintenance.
Common Question
Can the Sloan ESD-2000-PB be connected to electrical power instead of using batteries?
Yes. The dispenser is supplied with a battery pack and four D-cell alkaline batteries, with a rated battery life of approximately 45,000 activations. A compatible optional AC adapter may be purchased separately when a powered installation is preferred.
