Expert Insight
Why We Recommend the Sloan ETF-770-4-PLG-TEE
The Sloan ETF-770-4-PLG-TEE Smart Faucet (3365428BT) combines touchless operation, a commercial-grade cast-brass gooseneck spout, and Bluetooth-enabled controls in a polished chrome fixture. We often recommend this configuration for commercial sinks that require a higher 2.2 GPM laminar flow and a 4-inch trim plate. Its self-adapting infrared sensor, plug-in power supply, quick-connect fittings, and integrated shutoff support dependable operation and convenient servicing.
Best Applications
The ETF-770-4-PLG-TEE is well suited for commercial kitchens, food-service preparation areas, laboratories, healthcare support spaces, workshops, and other facilities that benefit from touchless operation and a higher-flow laminar stream. Bluetooth connectivity also makes it useful for facility teams that want wireless settings adjustment, water-usage information, and operating data through the compatible Sloan mobile app.
Quick Tip
Confirm that the sink layout accepts the included 4-inch trim plate and that a suitable electrical receptacle is available for the plug adapter. This configuration also includes a back-check tee rather than a user-adjustable temperature mixer, so the hot and cold supply arrangement and desired outlet temperature should be reviewed before installation.
Common Question
Does Bluetooth connectivity make the Sloan ETF-770-4-PLG-TEE wireless?
No. Bluetooth enables compatible wireless monitoring and settings adjustments, but this model still requires electrical power from its included plug adapter. It is a hardwired-powered faucet configuration and should not be confused with a battery-powered ETF-770 variant.
